Easy Salmon Cakes made with whole wheat Panko Crumbs

Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets 4-6 ounces each, cooked
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat Panko crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • canola oil

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • From mixture into equal size patties.
  • Coat a skillet with canola oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add patties to skillet. Heat on both sides for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
