Roasted Green Beans with Feta Cheese

A nutritious twist to traditional roasted green beans with feta cheese and walnuts.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. bag frozen green beans thawed
  • 1/2 cup cow's-milk feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup walnuts finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or olive oil sprayer
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Thaw the green beans in microwave for about 4 minutes.
  • Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and coat with olive oil (or use a non-stick baking pan).
  • Add the green beans to the pan in a single layer.
  • Coat green beans with oil sprayer (or mix green beans with 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl prior to adding to the baking pan).
  • Sprinkle feta cheese, walnuts, parsley and dill over top of the green beans.
  • Cook for 20 minutes or until the green beans are crisp-tender.
