Ingredients

whole wheat pasta shells
(or your favorite type of pasta)

butter spread
1/4
cup
all-purpose flour

chicken broth, low-sodium
2
cups
skim milk
2
cups
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4
cup
whole wheat Panko crumbs
2
tablespoons
Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook pasta according to directions.
Preheat oven to 375 F. Spray a 2 1/2 quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large skillet add butter and cook until butter is melted.
Stir in flour until thoroughly mixed.
Slowly add chicken broth and milk.
Increase heat to bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
Cook for another five minutes or until sauce has thickened.
Stir in cheese and remove from heat.
Stir pasta into sauce and add to the baking dish.
Sprinkle with Panko crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
