Ingredients

can flaky biscuits, separated and cut into quartered
Apple Pie Filling

about 2 cups chopped

tablespoon
lemon juice

tablespoons
butter

brown sugar

teaspoon
cinnamon
1/4
teaspoon
nutmeg
1/4
cup
+ 1 tablespoon water

tablespoon
cornstarch
vanilla ice cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a medium size casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine apples and lemon juice in a bowl. Set aside.
In a medium sauce pan melt butter. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, apples and 1/4 cup water.
Simmer for about 5 minutes or until apples are tender.
Combine remaining 1 tablespoon of water with cornstarch. Mix until combined.
Add cornstarch/water mixture to apples in pan. Stir until combined.
Pour apple mixture to a large bowl with biscuits.
Add to casserole dish.
Bake for about 25 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
