Shredded Barbecue Beef Sliders {Slow Cooker}

Ingredients
2
pounds
boneless beef chuck
roast
1
large onion
sliced
1
cup
honey barbecue sauce
12
ounce
beer
I used Founder's Dirty Bastard Ale
3
teaspoons
minced garlic
Additional barbecue sauce
provolone cheese
slider buns
Instructions
Place beef in slow cooker topped with onions, barbecue sauce, beer and minced garlic.
Cook on low for about 8 hours or until beef is very tender.
Remove beef and shred with two forks.
(Optional) Skim fat off top of remaining liquid in slow cooker.
Return shredded beef to slow cooker and cook for about 30 minutes.
Remove beef from slow cooker and place in a strainer to allow most of the liquid to drain from beef.
Serve beef topped with additional barbecue sauce and provolone cheese on slider buns.
