Sautéed Red Cabbage with Apples

Ingredients
  

  • 1 red cabbage sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 2 apples sliced
  • 1/4-1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds

Instructions
 

  • In a large sauté pan, add oil and heat over medium high heat.
  • Add cabbage, onions and water and cook for about 25 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir occasionally.
  • Stir apples, vinegar, brown sugar and caraway seeds and cook until all liquid is evaporated and apples are tender.
