Asian Steak Stir Fry with Zucchini Noodles

A simple Asian-inspired 30 minute meal!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound top sirloin strip steak sliced thin
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil divided
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce divided
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup white pearl onions frozen
  • 1 red yellow or orange pepper, sliced
  • 2 medium zucchinis spiralized (or grated)
  • 2 green onions chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional

Instructions
 

Marinade

  • Combine 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar and minced garlic.
  • Add steak strips to the marinade ingredients. Add steak to a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Turn steak strips frequently, and cook for about 3-5 minutes. Do not overcook.
  • Remove steak from skillet.
  • To the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and 1 tablespoon oyster sauce.
  • Over medium heat add carrots, pepper and pearl onions to skillet, cook until vegetables are tender. Add the steak to vegetables.
  • Add zucchini noodles to another skillet with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Cook zucchini noodles for about 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Serve steak and vegetables over the zucchini noodles.
  • Top with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

If you prefer substitute brown rice in place of the zucchini noodles.
