loaf bread
dried and cut into cubes

15 ounce can chicken broth, low sodium

egg

fresh cranberries

apple
peeled and chopped
1
large onion
chopped

teaspoons
minced garlic
1 1/2
teaspoons
dried thyme leaves

teaspoons
dried sage

teaspoon
poultry seasoning
salt and black pepper to taste

butter
melted
1/2
cup
pecans
chopped (optional)
1/4
cup
fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 °F. Layer bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Cook bread cubes for 14 minutes, turning half way through.
Add onions, cranberries, apple and pecans to slow cooker. Sprinkle seasonings over top.
In a large bowl, whisk together chicken broth and egg. Stir in bread crumbs and add to slow cooker.
Cook on low for 4 hours, remove lid and cook for 1 additional hour or until all liquid is absorbed.
