Healthy Weekly Meal Plan {Week Seven}

This weekly meal plan (week seven) is full of simple no-recipe meals along with a few slow cooker meals that are sure to please the entire family!

weekly meal plan week 7

I served this meal plan a few weeks before Christmas. It was quite the busy few weeks as you can likely tell by the simple meals. However, it’s not much different than I normally serve since I’m all about simple meals. This week’s meal plan includes beef, chicken and tuna meals.

Monday (10 minutes prep, 2 hours in slow cooker)

slow cooker sweet and sour meatballs

This meal does not go together whatsoever, but when you are a food blogger and need to make certain recipes like these meatball appetizers, you serve them to your family for dinner so they don’t go to waste!

Tuesday (25 minutes)

  • Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo:
    • cook  whole wheat noodles; in a large pan add cooked chicken breast or thighs and light Fettuccine Alfredo sauce, stir in cooked noodles
  • Leftover Asian vegetables from last night
  • I also made this Black Bean Soup from Cookie and Kate to add to dinners this week and for Dan and I to have for lunches

Wednesday (15 minutes prep, 4 hours in slow cooker)

chicken fajita

  • Slow cooker Salsa Chicken (includes chicken breast, peppers and onions, served with whole wheat tortillas, cheese and light sour cream)
  • Also served tortilla chips with it which makes it more likely for the kids to eat it

Thursday (55 minutes)

tuna noodle casserole

Friday (10 minutes)

  • Pizza carry out night!
  • Served with raw vegetables and hummus

Saturday (Night Out)

  • Went out to a restaurant which is a rarity for our family!
